Transportation 2009-2010

StoneBridge drives its own 24-passenger activity bus to provide safe, efficient, and economical bus transportation to as many families as possible.

Who drives the StoneBridge bus?

Donald O. Thomas, our bus driver, is a retired US Navy Chief and a retired police officer.  He served for 21 years in the US Navy and for 15 years as a police officer for the Virginia Port Authority.  Now, Mr. Thomas believes he is called to operate our StoneBridge school bus.  Mr. Thomas has been married to "the love of his life," Avlonia, for 38 years.  The Thomases have two grown children, Dawn and Kevin, and reside in Portsmouth.  They attend Holyway Temple of Faith in Portsmouth, where Mr. Thomas serves as a deacon.
