About Us

StoneBridge School is a K4-12th grade classical Christian school, dedicated to equipping nation changers through a Biblical, Principle Approach® education.  Established to restore the Christian character of the Republic, StoneBridge serves Christian families, enabling each child to reach the fullest expression of his value in Christ.

Student Body:  StoneBridge is a community of Christian families who share a commitment to Biblical, classical education.  The 2012-2013 student body numbers 263 students on one campus. Students are admitted without discrimination on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin.

College Prep:  Founded in 1980, StoneBridge has spent the last 33 years building an impressive academic record.  Since 2008, 99% of our graduates have attended college.  More than 80 colleges have accepted StoneBridge alumni, including Virginia Tech, the University of Virginia, William & Mary, Cornell and Princeton.

Accreditation:  StoneBridge is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), is a member of the Virginia Council for Private Education (VCPE), and also serves as a national demonstration school for the Principle Approach method of education.

The Principle Approach:  The Principle Approach is a method of education that teaches students how to reason from Biblical principles in every area of life and engage our world as Godly scholars, servants, stewards and statesmen.  Our curriculum focuses on individual learning and employs elements of classical education, such as foreign languages, poetry, history, mathematics and the fine arts.

Church Affiliation:  StoneBridge is an independent Christian school and is not affiliated with any church or denomination.  United in agreement with our statement of faith, our families represent many Christian denominations.

School Funding:  StoneBridge does not receive any government funding.  We rely on tuition and the generous gifts of donors to support our programs.

Financial Aid:  StoneBridge makes every effort to offer need-based scholarships to all students who qualify for financial aid.  These scholarships are provided by our generous friends and families.
