StoneBridge School Congratulates Anna Curfman,
2008-2009 NCSAA All-American
Chesapeake, VA—In July 2009, Anna Curfman was selected to the 2008-09 NCSAA (National Christian School Athletic Association) All-American Girls Soccer Team.
Anna is one of 18 girls in the nation selected to the NSCAA team. The NCSAA is a national organization with approximately 250 member schools. Each year the NCSAA selects members to its All-American Team from nomination forms it receives from members.
A 2009 graduate of StoneBridge School, Anna received great acclaim for her success on the soccer field during her high school career. Highlights include being selected for the 2008 NCSAA Girls High School Scholar All-America Team, receiving the 2009-2010 Metro Conference Scholar Athlete Award (recipient must participate in at least two varsity sports and maintain a 3.2 GPA), and being named 2009 Metro Conference Player of the Year.
Beginning in the spring of 2010, Anna will play Division I soccer at James Madison University. Anna will be the first female StoneBridge student to play collegiate soccer at this level in our school’s history.
