The StoneBridge community is grateful for the life of Arthur Paul “Art” Ricciardi, who passed on to glory of natural causes on December 26, 2024.
Dr. Ricciardi served as middle school principal for StoneBridge from the mid-1990s until around 2003. He “dedicated his professional life to propagating educational truth causing a restoration of the heart of the individual with the effect of restoring the ‘Republic of the United States,’ through his love of educating the next generations,” his obituary states.
In the early 2000s, he was asked to co-edit the StoneBridge Standards: Essential Practices that Produce Principle Approach Result, sponsored by the StoneBridge School Board of Directors in 2002 to be used as a tool to preserve and sustain the original StoneBridge mission.
“Art is remembered for his love of people, of teaching, and of America’s Christian history—the best ingredients of a StoneBridge teacher,” Dr. Carole Adams said.
The celebration of life service for Dr. Ricciardi will be held on January 18, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at StoneBridge School, 1629 Jolliff Road, Chesapeake, VA 23321. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to go to StoneBridge School. To make a gift, click here.
