6th - 12th grade
Upper School
Form the heart and mind of Christ in your Upper School student as they develop into Christian thinkers and leaders.
Discipleship
What joy it is to see our children walk in truth, but what a loss to us and our nation when they do not. StoneBridge Upper School students develop a deep understanding of who they are and how God’s Word relates to every aspect of life through rigorous academics and Christian mentoring centered on Truth. Our graduates are equipped to lead with conviction, prepared to engage their culture, and empowered to impact the nation for Christ.
Academics
Our 6th through 12th grade program is designed to build the character of Christ in each student through their own scholarship, service, stewardship, and statesmanship. More than half of our juniors and seniors are inducted into the National Honor Society each year, and SAT scores are consistently higher than the regional and national average. With 99% of SBS graduates attending college or university, SBS grads are consistently accepted to their top college choices–often including the most selective schools.
Approach
Our educational philosophy is rooted in God’s word and enables students to understand how it relates to every aspect of life and liberty. Students are empowered with an understanding of their individual value in Christ and their unique God-given purpose. They learn to reason from Biblical principles, to communicate persuasively, to serve their community, and lead with Christian character.
Faculty and Staff
Our faculty and staff are dedicated to imparting the love of learning to all students and engaged in mentoring new teachers in our philosophy and method of educating. At least half of our faculty have advanced degrees, with a combined average tenure of 10 years at the school.

Partnering with Parents
When students enter our Upper School, parents transition from partnering with the teachers to partnering with their student’s mentor, who will track their academic, relational, and spiritual progress as they navigate middle and high school. Parents still have many opportunities to volunteer through helping with the Upper School retreat and chaperoning on the Washington, D.C. and Boston trips.
Extracurriculars
Developing Christian Leaders
StoneBridge extracurriculars focus on developing the whole person as future leaders of character who will have an impact in their communities and beyond. We offer electives in music, art, and drama to strengthen students’ skills, talents and individual creativity inspired by the Creator. Our athletics program focuses on physical training and overcoming adversity through competition. Developing well-rounded Christian leaders through opportunities outside the classroom is a key component of the Upper School program.
Curriculum
Our curriculum focuses on individual learning and employs elements of classical education–such as foreign languages, history, and math–equipping learners to reason from Biblical principles in every area of life.
Student Life
StoneBridge offers students a variety of events, field studies, and extra activities that truly enhances the educational process, builds student knowledge and confidence, and strengthens community among our students, parents and faculty.
Spiritual Formation
Our Christ-filled teachers and mentors form personal relationships with students, which helps shape the student’s spiritual character foundational to their future success and calling
Leadership Development
Whether in class, out in the community, or on the court, we challenge our students to think beyond themselves and seek God’s individual purpose for their lives.
College Prep
StoneBridge students stand out among their peers through our strong college prep academics and servant leadership emphasis. We work hard to ensure each student develops a strong roadmap to their individual academic interests beyond high school.
Honors
Our faculty and administration recognize and award students each year based on proven academic record and Christian character.
