Pre-School - 5th grade
Lower School
The StoneBridge Lower School takes a holistic approach to learning in grades preschool through 5th grade while building basic academic skills and instilling biblical truth in the heart of each child.
Discipleship
At StoneBridge, the Bible is taught as the inspired Word of God and forms the foundation of every subject. This biblically principled education inspires a deeper understanding of God and His Word and instills a biblical worldview as students reason and relate biblical truths in every subject.
Academics
StoneBridge Lower School students consistently rank in the top 25th percentile on reading benchmarks and the top 50th percentile on math benchmarks. Through opportunities like speech meet, the Tyndale program, and our tutorial approach, our students develop a strong foundation in oral and written expression. These skills are developed early to ensure long-lasting confidence as they continue through the StoneBridge program.
Approach
StoneBridge embraces a tutorial approach grounded in biblical principles. Every child is unique and has unique needs in which they learn and grow. It’s our goal to partner with you in developing the whole child–your child–academically, emotionally, and spiritually, no matter where they start on their journey with us.
Faculty and Staff
Lower School faculty and staff serve as our “living textbooks” to students in 1st through 5th grade, nurturing their hearts and minds in Christ as they lay a solid academic foundation for the Upper School years.

Partnering with Parents
Every child is unique, with unique aptitudes, readiness, and circumstances. Our teachers work in tandem with parents to empower young learners to be successful. The fruit of this partnership is nothing short of amazing. Parents also have opportunities to volunteer in the classroom, on field trips, and on our special days.
Enriched Curriculum
Learning Come Alive
StoneBridge special days, field trips, and events allow students to experience first-hand the historical, scientific, and cultural opportunities in our area. On special days, classrooms come alive with costumes, authentic foods and crafts, music, visual aids, and more. This hands-on learning encourages students to take ownership of their studies and develop a sense of pride in their accomplishments.
“My family is so grateful for StoneBridge School! We were fortunate enough for our children to start in the Lower School and we look forward to experiencing every school year with StoneBridge until our children graduate from high school. The growth of not only educational knowledge but also their knowledge and faith in God is amazing. My children feel loved, safe, and truly cared about every day they walk into the school and as a parent, that is priceless. We love StoneBridge School!”
– Sydney Garner, SBS Parent
