The Upper School History Teacher is responsible for instructing students in grades 6–12 in history within a Christ-centered educational environment. The teacher integrates Biblical principles into daily instruction, helping students develop critical thinking skills, historical literacy, and a deeper understanding of God’s work throughout human history. The teacher partners with families to foster a love for learning and faith in Christ.

- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited postsecondary institution in history or a closely related field of study.
- Have significant knowledge and understanding of subject(s) being taught.
- Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Have the ability to meaningfully communicate with students, parents, and administrators verbally and electronically.
- Have the ability to manage the classroom environment with patience and consistency.
- Have confidence using technology to enhance the learning experience/goals.
