The Physical Education Teacher at a StoneBridge School serves students from Preschool through 8th grade by promoting physical fitness and Christ-centered character development. This role is responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate physical education instruction that supports students’ physical, social, and spiritual growth.
The teacher integrates biblical principles into lessons, encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and respect for others. Through engaging activities, skill development, and structured play, the Physical Education Teacher helps students build confidence, coordination, and a lifelong appreciation for health and wellness.
Required Professional Qualities

- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited postsecondary institution in physical education or a closely related field of study.
- Have the demonstrated ability to manage the classroom environment with patience and consistency.
- Have significant knowledge and understanding of subjects being taught.
- Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Have the ability to meaningfully communicate with students, parents, and administrators verbally and electronically.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of P.E. teaching experience preferred.
