SBS Strength/Speed/agility club with coach jones
WHEN: March 23-April 16 | Monday-Thursday, 4:15-5:30 p.m.
AGE: 4th-9th grade

The Purpose of this club is to offer structured weight training, speed & agility training for current & future StoneBridge Male & Female Middle School athletes. Each athlete will receive a camp t-shirt.
Coach Joe Jones is a longtime local Football Coach and P.E. teacher in public schools. Coach Jones brings his years of experience developing athletes’ strength and agility, along with his love for the Lord, to this 4-week after-school club at StoneBridge. Coach Jones played football at Virginia Tech from 1980 to 1984 and spent three years in training camp with six NFL teams.

WHEN: April 27-May 6th| Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:15-5:30 p.m.

Then plan on joining everyone for the “Spring Ball Classic” community event — a fun-filled day of flag football for all participants to showcase their skills on Saturday, May 9th, from 10 am-12:30 pm. Outside concessions will be available. Families are encouraged to come and enjoy a great day of food, fun, and friendly competition. Excel Basketball Academy helps middle and high school players take their game to the next level. Athletes of all skill levels will build skills, confidence, and basketball IQ through high-energy, game-focused training. Led by former professional player Lance Hurdle, each session delivers elite instruction, positive coaching, and a competitive environment that pushes players to improve every week. 🏀

Our 3rd–5th Grade Volleyball Club is an exciting 6-week program designed to introduce young athletes to the fundamentals of volleyball in a fun, encouraging environment. Players will learn basic skills such as passing, setting, serving, and teamwork while being coached and mentored by members of our Upper School volleyball team. This unique opportunity allows younger students to learn from accomplished players who model leadership, sportsmanship, and love for the game. The club will conclude with a volleyball game where participants can showcase their growth and celebrate all they’ve learned.

This 4-week club will cultivate a love of creating in your child and give them the opportunity to learn new skills, making some messes along the way.
Each of our projects will go above and beyond what we have time for in the classroom, allowing their inner artist to really shine!
