SBS Small Engine CLUB

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of engines! In the Small Engine Club, students will get hands-on experience learning how engines work by taking apart and reassembling a lawnmowers. They’ll explore basic mechanics, tool use, troubleshooting, and safety while developing practical skills that last a lifetime. Whether you’re curious about how things run or love fixing and building, this club is the perfect place to spark your inner mechanic!

SBS Girls Weight Lifting club

The 8th Grade Girls Weight Lifting Club is an empowering space where girls can learn how to lift weights safely and effectively, develop healthy habits, and build confidence. Led by a certified personal trainer, participants will learn proper form, basic nutrition, and how to spot one another during lifts. They’ll also gain the skills to design and track their own workouts while discovering their full strength and potential.

SBS Running Club

WHEN: Thursdays, January 8-March 12

GRADES: 1st-5th Grade

Students in grades 1st–5th are invited to lace up their sneakers and hit the track! The Running Club is a fun and exciting way for kids to build endurance, learn proper running form, and develop a love for fitness. Each week, runners will set goals, track their progress, and cheer each other on as they improve their speed and stamina. The season will finish with a fun group final run.

SBS Lower School Volleyball

Get ready for a fun and energetic volleyball experience for 3rd–5th grade students!
This club focuses on teaching fundamentals, helping players grow in confidence, and creating a space where kids can learn, laugh, and enjoy time with friends. We’re thrilled to have Maddy Wartick—a highly skilled standout player—instructing and encouraging our young athletes.

Whether your child is brand new to volleyball or already loves the sport, they’ll enjoy a supportive environment filled with teamwork, skill-building, and fun!
