The Lower School Teacher is responsible for providing a nurturing, Christ-centered learning environment that supports the academic, spiritual, social, and emotional growth of young students. The teacher integrates biblical principles into daily instruction, delivers developmentally appropriate curriculum, and partners with families to foster a love for learning and faith in Christ.

- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited postsecondary institution in elementary education or a closely related field of study.
- Have significant knowledge and understanding of subjects being taught.
- Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Have the ability to meaningfully communicate with students, parents, and administrators verbally and electronically.
- Have the ability to manage the classroom environment with patience and consistency.
- Have confidence using technology to enhance the learning experience/goals.
