The High School Science Teacher provides Christ-centered instruction in the sciences to students in grades 9–12. The Science Teacher integrates Biblical principles with scientific understanding, encouraging students to explore God’s creation through inquiry, observation, and critical thinking. The teacher supports the school’s mission to develop academically strong, spiritually grounded, and morally responsible students.

It is expected that the Upper School Science Teacher will…

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited postsecondary institution in Science Education or related scientific field.
  • Have significant knowledge and understanding of subject(s) being taught.
  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Have the ability to meaningfully communicate with students, parents, and administrators verbally and electronically.
  • Have the ability to manage the classroom environment with patience and consistency.
  • Have confidence using technology to enhance the learning experience/goals.
