What’s perhaps even more troubling is the growing number of Christians who, when confronted with these challenges, walk away from their faith altogether.

Beyond practical support, grandparents offer a unique emotional stability that can nurture a deep sense of belonging and personal identity. Their presence in the lives of their grandchildren contributes in large and small ways to the Christian character of the generation that follows them. Willow Hefflefinger, a freshman at StoneBridge, offered her tribute to her grandparents, who have raised her since she was a baby.
Grandparents play a vital role in the lives of families and communities. They are often a unique bridge between generations. Their guidance can provide invaluable lessons to younger generations, helping to shape their character and strengthen family bonds. Gabe Nunziata, a senior at StoneBridge School, recently addressed a room full of StoneBridge grandparents with his own story during this year’s Grandparents and Special Friends Day.
At Stonebridge School, my children are truly loved, prayed over daily, and encouraged to do their very best, not just settle for the world’s standards of getting by academically.
