SBS Winter Sports 2021 Season Wrap

We want to congratulate our Varsity Boys and Girls teams on a successful winter sports season. Our Varsity Girls were Metro Conference Co-Champions for the regular season and tournament. Both our Boys and Girls Varsity teams ended as state quarterfinalists this year. We also have five All Conference players, an MVP, and Coach of the Year.

“Playing through a pandemic, both teams faced hurdles when it came to mitigation strategies and the pausing of the season multiple times. However, both teams powered through and showed great poise and confidence to get through the season,” Interim Athletic Director Alex Walker said.

“While on the court, they showed great sportsmanship and continuity amongst the team,” he continued. “They kept their heads high and stayed focused on being competitive and leaving everything out on the court!”
