Willow Hefflefinger, a freshman at StoneBridge, offered her tribute to her grandparents, who have raised her since she was a baby.

Gabe Nunziata, a senior at StoneBridge School, recently addressed a room full of StoneBridge grandparents with his own story during this year’s Grandparents and Special Friends Day.
At Stonebridge School, my children are truly loved, prayed over daily, and encouraged to do their very best, not just settle for the world’s standards of getting by academically. As I reflect on the rich blessings we have received as StoneBridge parents, I am grateful for wisdom from staff we recieved along the way. There’s a passage in 2 Kings about a woman blessed with a child because of her kindness toward a prophet. The child falls ill and dies. The woman doesn’t murmur or complain—she just affirms that “it is well.” While I strive to be like the woman in 2 Kings, there have been times when I’ve found myself in what felt like a desert, hopeless and wondering what would come of my sons.
